- As pet tracking technology becomes a standard for safety-conscious owners, the Apple AirTag has emerged as a top choice. However, a tracker is only effective if it stays securely attached to your dog during vigorous activity.
- At iPeti, we've engineered our tactical collars with a specialized, screw-locked microfiber leather holder. In this guide, we'll show you how to install your tracker in less than a minute for maximum security.
Preparation: What's in the Box?
When you source tactical gear from iPeti, we ensure you have everything needed for immediate setup:
1 x iPeti™ Tactical Dog Collar
1 x Precision Screwdriver (Included for free with every order)
Note: AirTag/GPS device is sold separately.
The 5-Step Installation Process

Step 1: Loosen the Security Screw
Place the collar on a flat surface with the AirTag holder facing up. Use the provided precision screwdriver to rotate the screw counter-clockwise. Remove the screw and set it aside safely.
Step 2: Open the Microfiber Casing
Gently lift the top layer of the microfiber leather housing. Our material is chosen for its balance of flexibility and extreme durability, ensuring it won't crack or tear during installation.
Step 3: Insert the AirTag
Place your AirTag (silver side up) into the circular slot. Ensure it is centered within the protective rim. The snug fit is designed to prevent the device from rattling or shifting during heavy movement.
Step 4: Realign and Tighten
Fold the leather cover back over the AirTag. Re-insert the security screw into the designated hole. Turn the screwdriver clockwise until the screw is flush with the leather. Do not over-tighten, but ensure it is firm and immobile.
Step 5: Final Safety Check
Give the casing a light tug and a quick shake. The "Zero-Drop" design ensures that even if your dog runs through thick brush or engages in rough play, the tracker remains an integral part of the collar.
Why the iPeti Integrated Design Beats Standard Clips
For retailers and brand owners, explaining the "Why" is key to sales. Conventional clip-on AirTag holders have two major flaws:
- Snagging Risk: They dangle and can easily get caught on fences or branches.
- Loss Risk: Silicone or clip-on holders can stretch or snap over time.
- The iPeti Advantage: By integrating the holder into the collar's structure and securing it with a mechanical screw, we provide a Military-Grade safety solution that elevates your brand's reputation for quality.
