Specify the Look, Grip and Finish of Your Walking Leash

Choose the webbing shade, define the grip and settle the metal finish before placing your logo. This custom reflective nylon dog leash gives pet brands a familiar walking format with several visible points for customization. The M and L reference versions provide two combinations of width, length and weight from which to develop your own specification.

A padded hand loop, parallel reflective rows and a dark metal snap give the pictured leash its character. You can retain that combination for a branded color collection, or request changes to the handle, reflective layout and accessories during sample development.

The Construction You Are Starting With

The main strap is high-density nylon webbing. SBR padding lines the inside of the hand loop, placing a cushioned surface against the palm. A metal D-ring sits near the base of the handle for clipping on a waste bag dispenser or another small walking accessory.

At the dog end, a metal swivel snap allows the clasp to turn at the attachment point. Reinforced stitching secures the folded webbing at the hook and handle junctions. This is a fixed-length walking lead: the two reference lengths are separate size choices.

Custom Choices for Your Order Sheet

Each change becomes part of the project specification. The added traffic handle and bag holder are optional developments; the base leash has one padded hand loop and an accessory D-ring.

Plan the Color Selection as a Collection

Reference shades include Red, Rose Red, Pink, Orange, Beige, Bright Green, Mint Green, Turquoise, Blue, Purple, Black and Gray. They offer starting points for a bright assortment, a softer palette or a small group of everyday colors.

For an existing brand range, send the color you need to match with the logo artwork. Check the actual webbing sample under the same lighting as your reference item. Screen images are useful for choosing a direction; the approved physical shade should define the production color.

Reference Sizes and Export Packing

These figures describe the reference configuration. Custom components and retail packs can change the product weight, packing quantity and carton data. Suggested dog weights are selection guidance, not breaking-strength ratings.

Measure total length with the leash laid flat, from the outer end of the hook to the end of the hand loop. Measure width across a straight section of webbing. Hand-measured lengths may vary by 1–2 cm; agree the production tolerance when approving the sample.

Review the Sample as a Finished Product

Look at the hand loop from both sides, check the lining edges, operate the snap and turn the swivel. Compare the D-ring position, attachment stitching and reflective rows with the agreed design. Review the leash inside its proposed retail pack as well as laid out on a table.

Record the selected materials, logo location and packaging artwork against the approved sample. Where your order requires pull testing or other performance checks, agree the test method and acceptance criteria for the assembled leash before production.

Questions About Developing Your Version

Can we request M and L in the same brand colors?

Include both reference sizes in your project brief and list quantities by size and color. Color development, labels and packaging can have different minimum quantities, so the proposed assortment needs to be reviewed as a whole.

Where should a woven label or rubber patch go?

Mark the preferred position on a product photograph. A flat section with enough space around the label edges is a useful starting point. The final placement should keep the brand name readable without interfering with the handle fold or attachment stitching.

Can the hook keep its shape while its color changes?

Specify the hook profile and finish separately. Black, Silver, Gunmetal and Rose Gold are finish directions. Availability on the selected component, matching with the D-ring and the final appearance are confirmed through the component sample.

Do two reflective rows mean both faces are reflective?

Two rows can run along a single face of the webbing. If you need reflective detailing visible from either face, request the two-face construction explicitly so the sample and quotation cover that version.

Are 200 pieces and 160 pieces the minimum order quantities?

Those numbers are the listed packing quantities per carton for M and L. A custom order minimum depends on the color, branding method, components and packaging selected. Ask for the minimum quantity for your complete specification.

How is the sample and production schedule agreed?

Send your artwork, size and color breakdown, packaging choice and required shipping date. Color development and component sourcing affect preparation time. Sampling and production dates are confirmed after the project details have been reviewed.
