Cats can theoretically pee in a cat rehab suit, but this is not an ideal situation and there are a number of problems:
Effects on cats
- Uncomfortable: Urine will wet the rehabilitation clothing, causing the cat's skin to contact the wet fabric for a long time, which will make the cat feel very uncomfortable, may also cause skin itching, redness and other problems, and even lead to skin disease in serious cases.
- Mobility difficulties: Rehabilitation clothing soaked in urine will become heavy and may stick to the cat because of moisture, which will affect the cat's normal movement, making it more difficult to move, which is not conducive to the cat's recovery.
- Psychological stress: Cats are very clean animals, and the smell and humidity of urine will make them feel uneasy and irritable, which may lead to psychological problems such as anxiety and depression, affecting their mental state.
Effect on rehabilitation clothing
- Damage to rehabilitation clothing: The components in urine may cause corrosion or discoloration to the material of rehabilitation clothing, especially some rehabilitation clothing containing special functional materials, which may affect its original performance, such as warmth, air permeability, etc., and shorten the service life of rehabilitation clothing.
- Cleaning difficulties: urine will penetrate into the fibers of rehabilitation clothing, producing unpleasant odor, cleaning up relatively difficult, if not thoroughly cleaned, not only residual odor, but also may breed bacteria.
