Open strap harness / close-control handle
One harness, five places to tune the fit
This reflective nylon dog harness uses an open H/Y strap layout, two side-release buckles, padded contact areas, a back leash ring and a top handle. Its five adjustment positions let buyers build a measured S–XL assortment around neck and girth ranges.
The Y-shaped front follows the chest rather than crossing the throat. Because the leash attaches at the back, this is best specified as a back-clip walking harness instead of a directional front-clip training model.

Check each working part as a connected system
Fit, handling and durability depend on how the straps, sliders, closures and metal fittings work together. Review the finished sample in the smallest and largest ordered sizes.
- Five adjustment positionsBalance the neck loop, girth loop and connecting straps around the intended body shape.
- Two side-release bucklesOpen both sides, pass the front loop over the head, then close the harness at the body.
- Back D-ringConnects a leash above the shoulders for ordinary back-clip walking use.
- Top control handleProvides a short handhold when the dog needs to stay close beside traffic or obstacles.
- Padded contact zonesBlack padding separates webbing edges from the neck and lower body areas.
- Reflective detailingVisible lines run along the colored webbing for low-light product programs.
Finished-product measurements
Build the size chart from neck and girth together
Do not choose from the letter size alone. Match the dog's neck and girth to the same row, then verify the position of the upper-back strap, lower connector and underarm areas on a finished sample.
| Size | Strap width | Upper back | Neck range | Girth range | Lower connector | Unit weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 2.0 cm | 10 cm | 29–40 cm | 38–50 cm | 15–21 cm | 124.3 g |
| M | 2.0 cm | 13 cm | 36–51 cm | 44–66 cm | 16–23 cm | 131.5 g |
| L | 2.5 cm | 14.5 cm | 40–60 cm | 60–84 cm | 17–25 cm | 208.8 g |
| XL | 2.5 cm | 17.5 cm | 50–85 cm | 70–114 cm | 21–33 cm | 237 g |
Dimensions were measured manually on finished products. A variation of about 2 cm is normal. Allow approximately 2 cm of fitting room and confirm the final fit against coat thickness and body shape.
Fitting sequence
Center the Y-front before tightening the body straps
Short, alternating adjustments keep the harness more symmetrical than tightening one slider to its limit. Recheck the fit after the dog walks and turns.
Release
Open both side buckles and loosen the adjustment areas before fitting.
Position
Pass the front opening over the head and center the Y junction on the chest.
Close
Bring the girth straps around the body and lock both buckles.
Balance
Adjust the five positions gradually while keeping the back ring and handle centered.
Recheck
Confirm roughly 2 cm of room, free shoulder movement and clearance behind the front legs.
Product-positioning note: the images show a dorsal leash ring and no front attachment point. Any "no-pull" claim should be reviewed against the final structure and intended handling method before it appears on retail packaging.
Assortment planning
Six shown colors, one shared black comfort package
Purple, cyan, royal blue, hot pink, red and black versions use the same visible strap layout. Black padding and black closures create a consistent family appearance across the range.

Packing reference
Plan cartons by size, not one average unit
Unit weight and packing density change between the 2.0 cm and 2.5 cm webbing groups. Use the size-level figures when calculating assortment cartons and shipping estimates.
| Size | Individual pack | Units per carton | Carton weight | Carton size |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 15 × 14 × 6 cm | 100 | 13.1 kg | 54 × 29 × 37 cm |
| M | 13 × 13 × 7 cm | 100 | 13.55 kg | 54 × 29 × 37 cm |
| L | 17 × 16 × 7 cm | 54 | 12.1 kg | 54 × 29 × 37 cm |
| XL | 20 × 18 × 7 cm | 50 | 12.75 kg | 54 × 29 × 37 cm |
Confirm whether the quoted carton weight is net or gross for the final packing specification. Any hang card, barcode, instruction sheet or retail box may change the pack size and carton count.
OEM quotation brief
Separate fit decisions from branding decisions
Approve the working geometry first. Then apply the selected color, logo and retail presentation to the confirmed construction. This reduces confusion when several sizes and colorways enter the same wholesale program.
Fit specification
Send the target neck and girth ranges, ordered sizes and intended dog body types.
Use specification
State daily walking, outdoor retail or close-control needs and any required test method.
Color breakdown
List units by size and color. Add a physical or Pantone reference for a custom shade.
Branding location
Mark the requested logo position and dimensions without covering sliders, closures or reflective lines.
Hardware review
Define the required buckle, D-ring and finish criteria before sample approval.
Retail packing
Provide barcode, labeling, instruction and carton-mark requirements with the destination country.
MOQ, sampling cost, mixed-color rules and lead time depend on the confirmed specification. Request those values against the exact size-and-color plan.
Buyer FAQ
Questions to close before the purchase order
Is this a front-clip no-pull harness?
No front leash attachment is shown. The leash connects to the ring on the back. The Y-front keeps the strap path off the throat, but a directional no-pull claim should not be used without a compatible front attachment and finished-product validation.
How should I choose between two overlapping sizes?
Match both neck and girth in one row, then consider strap width, body shape and adjustment position. Avoid selecting a size that works at the extreme end of every range when another row leaves more usable adjustment.
Can the top handle be used to lift a dog?
No lifting rating is provided with the source specifications. Treat the handle as a close-control handhold. If assisted lifting is required, define that use and request a suitable load test for the complete assembly.
What should be checked on a pre-production sample?
Check finished neck and girth ranges, strap symmetry, buckle operation, slider hold, D-ring and handle attachment, padding position, reflective appearance, color, stitching, labeling and the exact retail pack.
Can the color and logo be customized?
iPeti supports custom pet-product development. Send the color reference, logo artwork, intended placement, quantities by size and color, and packaging requirements so feasibility, sampling and order terms can be confirmed for this harness.
Which details are needed for a wholesale quotation?
Provide sizes, quantities per color, destination country, intended use, branding method, hardware requirements, test criteria and retail packaging. Include a marked reference image for any construction change.
